About Us
Thumbprint is a branded merchandise and technology company on a mission to revolutionize the way people interact with branded merchandise. We partner with some of the world’s most recognized brands—blending strategy, creativity, and cutting-edge tech to create experiences that go far beyond “just swag.” We’re not your average promo company. We’re a bold, fast-growing team of thinkers, doers, creators, and connectors who want to make branded merch smarter, smoother, and more meaningful.
Position Overview
As an Account Manager at Thumbprint, you’ll be the quarterback for your clients—driving relationships, overseeing projects, and delivering creative, tech-forward merchandise solutions. You’ll lead with empathy, operate with urgency, and solve problems before they happen. This is a role for someone who owns their results, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to help reshape an industry from the inside out.
Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts. Manage day-to-day client needs, ensuring top-notch service, accurate orders, and strong project execution. Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and creative product presentations. Coordinate with account directors, project managers, creative teams, and operations to bring campaigns to life. Submit and manage purchase orders and oversee apparel and product orders. Resolve issues quickly and proactively. Identify opportunities to grow accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and strategic problem-solving. Stay current on branded product trends, digital tools, and custom packaging ideas that elevate the client experience.
Performance Goals
In your first 90 days, you’ll onboard with 10–15 active accounts, launch 3+ custom merch projects, and develop a growth strategy for your top clients.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in account management, client services, or sales. Promotional products, branded merchandise, marketing, or ecommerce experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. Strong communication and relationship skills. Super organized, quick learner, accountable, and able to juggle multiple projects. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Experience with CRM systems, online ordering platforms, and digital portals. Familiarity with CommonSKU is a major plus.
Culture Fit
We hustle hard, move fast, and stay humble. We don’t have time for drama or politics. We want people who take initiative, love learning, share the glory, enjoy doing things for others, and—bottom line—are just good humans. Our team is collaborative, generous with ideas, and always ready to build something better than what came before.
Travel
Some travel is required for client meetings, events, and industry trade shows (5–10%).
