RETURN POLICY AND LIMITED WARRANTY

1. Overview

ScreenBroidery, LLC dba Thumbprint (“Thumbprint,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to delivering high-quality products and a best-in-class customer experience. This Return Policy and Limited Warranty outlines your rights and our obligations with respect to defective, damaged, or non-conforming products purchased through our Store.

2. Limited Warranty

Thumbprint warrants that all products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, including imprint or embellishment quality, for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of delivery.

If a product is determined by Thumbprint, in its sole discretion, to be:

  • Defective
  • Not materially consistent with the approved proof or product description
  • Produced with material imprint or embellishment errors

Thumbprint will, at its option:

  • Replace the product at no cost; or
  • Re-run the order; or
  • Issue a refund to the original method of payment

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper use, handling, or storage
  • Sizing preferences or subjective dissatisfaction
  • Minor variations in color, placement, or material inherent in custom production

3. Inspection and Notice Requirement

You are responsible for inspecting your order upon delivery.
Any claim for defective, damaged, missing, or incorrect items must be reported to Thumbprint within thirty (30) days of delivery.
Failure to notify Thumbprint within this period constitutes acceptance of the order as delivered.

4. Return Eligibility

Returns will be accepted only under the following conditions:

Eligible items must:

  • Be unused and in original, saleable condition
  • Include all original packaging, tags, and materials
  • Be authorized by Thumbprint through a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”)

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Custom or made-to-order products (except for verified defects)
  • Personalized items
  • Clearance or final sale items

5. Return Authorization (RMA) Process

All returns require prior authorization.

To initiate a return or claim:

Upon approval, Thumbprint will issue an RMA and provide return instructions.

Returns received without an RMA may be refused.

6. Defective or Incorrect Orders

If an item is confirmed to be defective, damaged, or incorrect:

  • Thumbprint will arrange return shipping at no cost to you
  • Thumbprint may require photographic evidence prior to issuing an RMA
  • Replacement or re-run orders will be processed promptly upon verification

7. Pre-Production Cancellation

Orders may be canceled for a full refund only prior to production.
Once production has commenced, orders cannot be canceled or modified.

8. Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
Timing of refunds may vary depending on the payment provider but typically occurs within 3–7 business days after approval.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a Thumbprint error.

9. Exchanges

Thumbprint does not process direct exchanges.
If a different size, color, or item is desired, a new order must be placed.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thumbprint’s liability under this policy is limited solely to the repair, replacement, or refund of the affected product(s).

SHIPPING POLICY

1. General Shipping Terms

Thumbprint ships orders within the United States and select international locations, subject to applicable laws and restrictions.
Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Processing times:

  • In-stock items: typically 1–3 business days 
  • Made-to-order items: typically 7–10 business days production time

2. Shipping Estimates and Delivery

All shipping and delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Thumbprint is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Carriers
  • Weather or force majeure events
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping information

Orders may ship from multiple facilities and may arrive in separate shipments.

3. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout.

Thumbprint will not charge more than the amount presented at checkout, except in cases of:

  • Carrier surcharges
  • Address corrections
  • Special handling requirements

4. International Shipping

For international orders:

  • Duties, taxes, and fees are calculated at checkout or upon delivery
  • Customers are responsible for compliance with local laws

Thumbprint does not ship to countries or regions subject to U.S. trade restrictions, including those restricted under OFAC regulations.

5. Order Changes and Address Accuracy

Once an order is placed, it may not be modified, including changes to shipping address.
Customers are responsible for ensuring all shipping details are accurate at checkout.

6. Multiple Orders and Shipments

  • Orders cannot be combined once placed
  • Orders cannot be split across multiple delivery addresses

Separate orders must be placed for multiple destinations.

7. APO/FPO Shipping

Thumbprint ships to U.S. military APO/FPO addresses.
Delivery times may range from 2–4 weeks depending on destination.

8. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect:

You must:

  • Notify Thumbprint within 30 days of delivery 
  • Retain all packaging materials
  • Provide photographic documentation upon request

Do not use damaged items until a claim has been reviewed.
Thumbprint will work to resolve the issue promptly, including replacement or refund where appropriate.
